Mobil Lubricants

Founded by Hiram Bond Everest in 1860, Mobil Oil (then Vacuum Oil Company) has been producing high-quality lubricants for their customers. Although their competition offered cheaper products, Mobil never compromised the quality of what they offer just to sell more products.

The lubricants produced by Vacuum Oil Company were used to lubricate the groundbreaking innovations that changed the way people travel.

It was used to lubricate the engines of the following:

  • the first gasoline-powered automobile invented by George Selden in 1877.
  • the plane used for mankind’s first powered flight in 1903.
  • the RMS Mauretania which set the trans-Atlantic speed record in 1909.
  • the Spirit of St. Louis for its first successful transAtlantic flight in 1927.
  • the Voyager, the first non-stop flight around the world in 1986.

In 1999, Mobil merged with Exxon,  an oil and natural resources company, to form a parent company called ExxonMobil.

These lubricants are helpful in improving the performance of different industrial machines and in prolonging the life of various equipment. Using these lubricants help minimizing waste while increasing worker safety.

Pacific Petroleum has been an authorized Mobil lubricants distributor since 1990 when Mobil bought Esso’s retail network.
